eTwinning and Social Media

In this learning event we will look at the challenges and opportunities of using social media in eTwinning. We will highlight trends and best practices of how social media can be used in education. We will explore the impact that social media has on pupils and teachers and learn how to prepare pupils to stay safe online. We will focus on two different aspects of the use of social media in education: social media for professional development and social media in the classroom.  By the end of the event the participants will have learned how to integrate social media and eTwinning projects in order to enhance teaching and learning. The event is suitable for all eTwinning teachers who have a Twitter and Facebook account. In case you don’t have an account you will be guided through the steps on how to set up an account.
